The Town of Ajax is reviewing its Municipal Alcohol Policy (MAP) and is inviting the community to share feedback through a public survey, open until January 22, 2026.
The Municipal Alcohol Policy (MAP), last updated in 2020, which ensures that the Town is providing safe and enjoyable municipal facilities and parks that promote the health and safety of participants, residents and staff, while allowing a responsible and managed approach to the consumption of alcoholic beverages in certain locations.
Council has initiated a review of liquor service policies in the Town of Ajax with consideration to potentially expanding the locations and manner in which alcohol is permitted. This survey seeks feedback to inform the review and update of the Municipal Alcohol Policy, which is anticipated to be considered by Council in February 2026.
