Temporary Outdoor Service Locations

The current MAP permits temporary alcohol service, with a Special Occasion Permit, in parks and outdoor amenities under certain conditions (i.e. adequate parking, suitable washrooms, adherence to Town and Provincial rules, etc.). This could include, for example, baseball tournaments, farmers markets, or large community events like “Run Ajax”.

4.

Generally, what approach do you think the Town should take when it comes to allowing temporary event-specific outdoor liquor service?

Liquor Licensed Establishments

Currently, the Town’s only facility with a perpetual Liquor License is the St. Francis Centre.

6.

Would you support a perpetual Liquor License at additional locations, such as a seasonal outdoor patio or beer garden along the waterfront (similar to the Whitby lakefront), or seasonal sale of beer and/or alcohol from the Rotary Park Pavilion concession?
