Proposed Residential Development - 253 & 255 Lake Driveway West - Ward 3

The Town of Ajax is in receipt of development applications, submitted by Your Home Developments (Lake Driveway) Inc., proposing the development of an 8-storey residential building and a 3-storey stacked townhouse dwelling block for a total of 178 dwelling units. One level of underground parking and a partial level of structured parking is proposed to accommodate the development. The lands affected by the proposed development are 253 and 255 Lake Driveway West.
The purpose of the Official Plan Amendment (OPA20-A3) is to re-designate the lands to a site-specific Neighbourhood Centre designation to increase the maximum permitted building height and to permit additional uses.

The purpose of the Zoning Bylaw Amendment (Z4/20) is to rezone the lands to a site-specific Local Commercial (LC) Zone to permit additional uses and set site-specific development standards to facilitate the proposed development.

A Site Plan Application will also be required to facilitate the proposed development.

Virtual Public Open House (February 10, 2021):

We invited the public to attend an open house to learn more about this development proposal, identify any concerns, and to provide comments. The public open house was held electronically on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, from 7 to 9 p.m.
