10, 20 and 30 Blowers Crescent - Temporary Use By-law
The Town of Ajax intends to pass a Temporary Use By-law, pursuant to Zoning By-law Amendment Application Z12/26, to establish temporary use permissions for an outdoor vendor market on the lands municipally known as 10, 20 and 30 Blowers Crescent (the “subject lands”).
The subject lands are zoned Local Commercial (LC) Zone, Holding (H), Exception 232 in the Town of Ajax Zoning By-Law 95-2003, as amended, which does not permit an outdoor vendor market. Under Section 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13, as amended, the Town may, through a by-law, authorize the temporary use of land, buildings or structures for any purpose that is otherwise prohibited by the Zoning By-law, for a period not exceeding three years. The Town may through a by-law, grant further periods of not more than three years.
