Consultation has concluded

Design of waterfront rain gardens as part of a water quality improvement strategy. The rain gardens will improve the water quality discharging to Lake Ontario, including phosphorus reduction.

Please be advised the Town of Ajax will commence the construction of the waterfront raingarden along Lake Driveway from November 1, 2023 to December 15, 2023.
The raingardens will be located along Lake Driveway in the Town of Ajax in 3 locations. The raingardens as part of this project are as follows:

  • Raingarden 1 (east of Varley Drive) 
  • Raingarden 2 (across from Love Crescent) 
  • Raingarden 3 (across from Finley Avenue)
