The Town of Ajax is holding a public open house to review the proposed design of the new park located at the north-east corner of Stonewood Street and Bateson Street. The Town is holding an open house to provide the public an opportunity to review the plans and provide comments. Once the plans have been completed, it is anticipated that the park will be under construction during the summer/fall of 2027 (subject to Council approval).
It is anticipated that the new features will include:
children’s playground
basketball half-court
shade shelter
leash-free area
seating areas
paved walkways
lighting
open space areas
landscaping
To provide feedback on the Stafford Park construction, a public open house is being held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the Ajax Community Centre, HMS Room, located at 75 Centennial Road, Ajax.
No registration is required.
