What is the Ajax Partnership Fund?
The Ajax Partnership Fund is an opportunity for organizations and individuals to partner with the Town on events, initiatives and projects of shared importance making a difference for the residents and wider community of Ajax.

How does it work?
Applicants submit their proposal to the Town through our online form on the Town of Ajax Grant Platform and are evaluated against a set of criteria to ensure the highest and best use of funding.
To have a proposal considered, all applicants must meet at least 3 of the following 5 criteria:

  • Be in Ajax or provide services to Ajax residents.
  • Offer benefits to the community-at-large.
  • Have clear alignment with Town of Ajax strategic goals and priorities.
  • Be accessible and welcoming to the public.
  • Provide meaningful avenues for Town recognition and partnership.

Applicants must not be associated with organizations that do not align with Town values or are otherwise ineligible (ex. political parties).

Applicants can apply to tiers of funding for up to $100,000 for each initiative and may apply for multi-year funding if required.

In addition, organizations may seek in-kind support, such as the use of rooms and meeting space for their projects, subject to certain terms and conditions.

Who can apply?
The Ajax Partnership Fund is open to a wide range of applicants. Charities, community organizations, for-profit and not-for-profit organizations as well as unorganized groups may apply for funding.
Proposals must meet several criteria as determined by the Town to be considered for funding. Funding is not guaranteed even if the requirements are met.

How do I apply?
Prospective applicants may apply to the Ajax Partnership Fund for initiatives beginning in January 1st, 2024 at the Ajax Grant Platform on or after August 31st, 2023. The form will close October 13, 2023 at 11:59 p.m. so we encourage you to apply early!
