Live with Mayor Collier was on February 17!

Town of Ajax residents, businesses and community groups were invited to join Mayor Shaun Collier live on location from the Ajax Public Library, Rotary Room (55 Harwood Avenue South) on Tuesday, February 17 at 7 p.m. The in-person event focused on Town priorities and updates, reflections on the mayor’s 20+ year career on Ajax Council and featured a live question and answer period with Mayor Collier.

The event was livestreamed and recorded for those unable to attend. Please note that questions cannot be submitted online during the event, if you are unable to attend in-person but will be joining us online, please submit your questions in advance.

I wanted to know about the exorbitant property tax that we pay on Ajax. I thing residents are concerned with the taxes and how the values were derived and spending of both Ajax and transfers to Durham. A breakdown of all costs by both would be necessary, and why there has been any savings only increased costs.

If this needs to be discussed at a separate meeting with council, please inform all Ajax resident' and schedule.
