Consultation has concluded
To ensure that we are meeting the needs of our community, Ajax Fire and Emergency Services is creating a 10-year, community-driven Fire Master Plan.
The intent of this document is to provide a 10-year, community-driven plan to guide operational improvements and enhance how services are provided throughout the community.
The plan will provide the framework and recommendations for operational improvements and service enhancements, and include an assessment of operations and divisions including administration, training, prevention and public education, suppression and emergency response, fire stations, apparatus and equipment, and communications.
To accomplish this, we have engaged in Emergency Management & Training Inc. (EMT) has been hired to prepare a Fire Master Plan for the Ajax Fire & Emergency Services (AF&ES).
The Fire Master Plan will be developed based on stakeholder and public input, community needs as well as current research and best practices. It will include strategies and recommendations that are consistent with the master planning processes outlined by the Office of the Fire Marshal and the Emergency Management, Ontario (OFMEM)

fire departments in developing their fire master plans, station assessments and

ensure focused action that continues to meet the diverse needs of all
residents.
