Consultation has concluded
The Town of Ajax is undertaking a detailed design to reconstruct Dreyer Drive from Harwood Avenue to Pickering Beach Road, with new curb and gutter, improved lighting and sidewalk replacement to improve drainage. As part of the work, the Region of Durham will be replacing the watermain including water services.
It is anticipated that construction will start in Summer 2019. During construction, there will be a temporary interruption to water services and access to driveways, but advanced notice will be provided. Project information signs will be posted on Dreyer Drive and updates will also be provided on this project page and the Region of Durham website www.durham.ca.
Information will be collected in accordance with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. With the exception of personal information, all comments will become part of the public record.
