Council Code of Conduct Review
Consultation has concluded
The Town of Ajax is undertaking a review of the Code of Conduct for Ajax Council. The Code of Conduct serves as a set of rules for Members of Council in the conduct of their duties, ensuring that all Members share a common basis for acceptable conduct. It also serves to protect the public interest and encourage high ethical standards among Council Members.
The review will collect survey feedback from the public, examine best practices from other municipalities, and receive input from the Town’s Integrity Commissioner to develop a new and modern Code of Conduct for Ajax Council. The review will also examine the separate Code of Conduct for Ajax’s local boards, and the rules for submitting inquiries and complaints to the Town’s Integrity Commissioner. The Town is seeking your feedback during this review. Please take a few minutes to complete the Code of Conduct Survey below.
Public Survey is now closed.
