725 Westney Road South
The Town is in receipt of a Zoning By-law Amendment Application (Z5/24), submitted by The Biglieri Group on behalf of Firearms Outlet Canada to establish an indoor shooting range and an accessory retail sales outlet in association with warehousing as permitted uses within the Prestige Employment Zone.
The proposed redevelopment, to be considered through a future Site Plan Application consists of a partial demolition and expansion of the existing building, which will add a second-storey addition at the rear of the building to accommodate an indoor firearm range comprised of a seven (7) lane Clayhouse shotgun range on the second floor and a 15-lane shooting range on the first floor.
The redevelopment also proposes a warehouse, an accessory retail space, two training classrooms, a restaurant, and office spaces (including a staff room) on the balance of the first floor. The building expansion will increase the building height to 13 metres (from 12 metres) and the gross floor area (GFA) to a total of 3,334 m² over two levels. A total of 62 parking spaces and one (1) loading space is contemplated for the Site.
