Proposed Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan Applications

The Town of Ajax is in receipt of Official Plan Amendment, Zoning By-law Amendment and Site Plan applications, submitted by Promita Holdings Inc., to facilitate the development of a 25-storey, 349 residential unit apartment building with 9 ground floor commercial units, with associated underground parking.

The purpose of the Official Plan Amendment is to increase the maximum permitted floor plate size for the tower portion of the building, set a minimum percentage of residential units in the building to be barrier-free (accessible units), and to set a minimum percentage of residential units in the building to be comprised of three or more bedrooms.

The purpose of the Zoning By-law Amendment is to rezone the lands to Uptown Mixed-Use (UC) and to set site-specific development standards.

We invite you to attend the electronic public open house to learn more about this development proposal, identify any concerns, and to provide comments. The public open house will be held electronically on Thursday, January 7, 2020 from 7 to 9 p.m.
